OYSTERFEST 2025
It’s OFFICIAL! December = LOCALS’ Oyster Season. Why, you ask? Because the tourists are gone, it’s dark and cold, and slow season is upon us… Yet the cold Gulf of Maine water is making oysters plumper, sweeter, richer—the best they taste all year. It’s the perfect time for Mainers to slurp as many oysters as possible.
🗓️ So we’re throwing our first annual OYSTERFEST

🦪🍻Oysters on the half shell, a chance to meet your local oyster farmers, oyster specials from the kitchen, and an Oyster Saison beer release.

⏱️ Plus, a Saturday shucking time trial with Andy from Joly Rogers (who is ranked FIFTH IN THE US).
THE SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
🦪 Friday, 12/12: Oyster Saison Beer release, raw oysters shucked by Andy from @jolie_rogers_ starting at 1pm
🦪 Saturday, 12/13: Andy shucking again, from open to close
⏱️ 5pm on Saturday, 12/13: Timed Oyster Shucking Trial!!!!!
🦪 Sunday, 12/14: AT-COST oysters, raffle will be announced either by the end of the evening or early Monday!
🌊 Serving oysters from: Eros Oyster, Love Point Oysters, and Maine Ocean Farms.
⚠️ NOTE: We previously said in our newsletter that the shucking time trial would take place on Sunday, but it has been changed to SATURDAY.
